An amazing space for your private event and children’s party. Our recently refurbished hut has a complete functional kitchen, tables and chairs, and a lovely grass area out the front.
The price is an affordable £135 for 3 hours (minimum) with a £100 refundable security deposit. Extra hours are available at £45 / hour.

FAQs
Can we Have Bouncy Castles?
Yes, inside the hut only because of noise restrictions. We recommend Bouncy Apple who know the space well and can advise you of a suitable castle.
How Do I Collect the Keys?
Key collection is arranged with the bookings organiser from their home (romanyscouthall@gmail.com). You’ll be given details of this after your booking.
How Large is the Hut?
The hut is 17m x 7m which equates to a floor area of about 120 sq. metres.
Can we Leave Rubbish in the Bins in the Romany?
No, please take your rubbish away with you. The bins are not large enough for party rubbish as well, and the foxes will get it. Any rubbish left onsite in the bins will result in a loss of deposit.
Is There a Kitchen?
There is a small kitchen with a basic microwave, oven, and small fridge - no freezer. There is a kettle, but the mugs belong to the playgroup who share the space, so please wash them up afterwards.
When can the hut be hired?
The hut may be hired on Friday afternoons (3:30-6:30pm), Saturday mornings (10:30am-1:30pm) and Saturday afternoons (2:30pm-5:30pm). All times are inclusive of set up and tidying time. The hut is not available in the evenings. All day hire (Saturdays) may also be made by request.
Note that the hut is not available for bookings during August.
Are we Allowed to Use the Outside Area?
Yes, but only the area as you approach the Hut from the entrance. The garden behind the hut and the playground are out of bounds for Hut users, and will result in a loss of deposit.
Can we have entertainers?
Yes, both inside and outside the hut. However, due to noise restrictions, PA systems / speakers / microphones must not be used outside the hut.
Can we Have Disco’s?
No. Music may be played quietly inside the hut only (with the doors closed), and should not be an integral part of any entertainment.
What capacity can the hall accommodate?
The hall can comfortably accommodate 25-30 children - suitable for a class party including entertainer(s) and hosts / parents / carers.
